Bioprocess and Biotechnology Engineer from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Botucatu campus, and a Ph.D. in Medical Biotechnology from the Graduate Program in Medical Biotechnology at Botucatu Medical School (FMB/UNESP).Currently serving as Quality Assurance Manager and Technical Responsible Person at CROP LABS, a Contract Research Organization (CRO) based in Botucatu, São Paulo, Brazil. CROP LABS specializes in preclinical safety and efficacy studies, with a focus on alternative methods to animal testing. Responsibilities include the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, coordination of the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) recognition process, and REBLAS certification in accordance with ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025.Extensive experience in structuring and coordinating laboratories in the areas of cell culture, microbiology, and virology. Technical expertise includes cytotoxicity assays, antimicrobial efficacy evaluation, analytical method validation, and the assessment of cosmetic, pharmaceutical, biotechnological, sanitizing, medical device, and health-related products.Activities also encompass the preparation, review, and approval of study plans and final reports in compliance with national and international guidelines, including those established by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA), ICH Q5A(R2), and ISO 10993 standards. Skilled in regulatory audits, internal inspections, and technical communication with national and international clients. Fluent in English for scientific and regulatory discussions.Participation in multiple Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) projects, with emphasis on virucidal technologies, advanced therapies, and the validation of biocidal products and equipment.
