Graduated in Forest Engineering from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) (2009 - 2015), with a sandwich period at the University of Calgary, Canada, through the Science without Borders/CNPq program. Master in Forest Engineering from UFLA (2016 - 2018) in the area of #8203;#8203;Forest Management and sub-area of #8203;#8203;Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, with an emphasis on detecting changes in vegetation. PhD in Forest Engineering from UFLA (2018 - 2022) with PDSE-CAPES sandwich period at the University of Calgary, Canada, in the area of #8203;#8203;Forest Management and sub-area of #8203;#8203;Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, with emphasis on optimizing the detection of changes in vegetation using different sources of information and algorithms. Postdoctoral fellow at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) (2022 - 2023), with emphasis on monitoring crop-livestock integration systems using high spatial and temporal resolution remote sensing images. Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Florida (UF) (2023 - present), with emphasis on predicting and evaluating the impact caused by natural disturbances on forest biomass. Has experience in Forest Resources and Forest Engineering, with emphasis on Geosciences, working mainly on the following topics: remote sensing and geographic information systems applied to analysis, mapping and monitoring of vegetation, spatial modeling of forest attributes and machine learning.
