PhD student in the Pharmacology laboratory at the School of Medicine - Western Sydney University (WSU/Australia). Master of Science from the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp/Brazil) and bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (Unifesp/Brazil). As an undergraduate, I worked as a scholarship holder in scientific initiation projects emphasising aging at the Interprofessional Center for Research and Care for Aging (NIPAE/Brazil). During my master's degree, I was part of the Laboratory of Neurosciences and Bioprospecting of Natural Products (Unifesp/Brazil), studying the effects of cannabidiol (CBD) in an animal model induced by Alzheimer's disease. I did a research internship at Western Sydney University (WSU/Australia), in the Pharmacology and Behavioral Neuroscience laboratories. In my doctorate, I study Longvida curcumin supplementation in young animals and its potential benefit against Alexander disease, a rare form of leukodystrophy. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
