Holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC, 2008). Earned a Master's in Physics from the same institution and a PhD from the Institute of Physics of São Carlos (USP). He worked as a temporary professor at the Federal University of São Carlos, where he taught undergraduate courses. He completed postdoctoral research at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST - US), under the supervision of Professor Ian B. Spielman, and at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos (USP), under the supervision of Professor Vanderlei Salvador Bagnato. He currently has a FAPESP Young Researcher project focused on building an ion trap for experiments in quantum computing and precision measurements. He has experience with Bose-Einstein condensates, working on topological excitations such as vortices and solitons, turbulence, and optical lattices. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
