Civil Engineer by the Escola Politecnica of the University of Sao Paulo (1994) and got a Master's (2009) and PhD (2018) degree at the Civil and Urban Engineering Programme of the Escola Politecnica of the University of Sao Paulo. Currently is pos-doctoral researcher at Escola Politecnica of the University of Sao Paulo, secretary of Brazilian mirror committee of ISO/TC 268 - "sustainable cities and communities" and consultant at SPIn. Has been working on standardization for sustainable cities and UN SDGs - Sustainable Development Goals for cities, as secretary of Brazilian mirror committee and as member of ISO/TC 268/WG2 - "City Indicators".
