Agricultural Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Lavras - UFLA. Holds a Master's degree in Meteorology from the National Institute for Space Research - INPE, and a Ph.D. in Earth System Science, also from INPE, both focused on agrometeorological modeling for crop forecasting in the Semi-Arid region of Brazil. Has experience in integrated modeling for assessing present and future climate impacts and risks in agriculture and water resources. Additionally, has teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas such as Hydrology, Hydraulics, Rational Use of Natural Resources, among others. Currently conducting postdoctoral research at INPE, as part of the NEXUS Project - Transition to Sustainability and the water-agriculture-energy nexus: exploring an integrative approach with case studies in the Cerrado and Caatinga biomes.
