I am currently part of the Photon-Ion Interaction with Matter Research Group (GRIFIM) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with strong collaborations with the Atomic Interactions Laboratory (LIA) at the University of São Paulo (USP) and also with international ties with the Atomic and Molecular Physics group (AtMol) at Durham University in the United Kingdom, in an effort led by the Joint Quantum Centre (JQC - Durham/New Castle) in the study of nonlinear phenomena of few-photon mediated by strong interactions between Rydberg states. Among my main interests are the development of quantum technologies for neutral atom-based quantum processors, including the study of quantum interferences in thermal samples of alkali atoms, the search for Rydberg blockade in these systems, and the application of strong interactions between Rydberg atoms in quantum simulation. Other interests include the study of bistability windows in atomic samples, collective effects of super-radiance, and detection of microwave and Terahertz radiation in these systems. I completed my master's and doctoral degrees in Atomic and Molecular Physics at the University of São Paulo (USP), São Carlos Campus, at the Atomic Interactions Laboratory (LIA), where I conducted research focused on the study of interactions between Rydberg atoms using ultracold samples of rubidium 85 trapped in optical traps. I have also worked on the analysis of conducting polymers using the EPR technique and was a member of the 'Show de Física' scientific outreach group maintained by São Paulo State University - UNESP.
