Tatiane Moraes is a professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Institute of Social Medicine, State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). She holds a degree in Ecology from São Paulo State University (UNESP) and a masters and PhD in Public Health from the National School of Public Health at Fiocruz, having completed part of her masters program at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). She also completed a postdoctoral Political Science fellowship at the University of São Paulo (USP). She was a visiting scientist in the Department of Global Health and Population at Harvard University. Tatiane is part of several research groups, including the Climate and Health Observatory, the Solidarity Research Network on Public Policies, and the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) scientific committee. Her academic and scientific work focuses on studies on the health sectors adaptation to climate change and other environmental transformations. She also develops projects addressing the intersection of social, environmental, and macropolitical determinants of health and their impacts on population health. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
