Cláudio Filho is a doctoral candidate in the Postgraduate Program in Visual Arts at the Institute of Arts at the State University of Campinas (IA/Unicamp), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. César Baio. In this program, he is engaged in academic and artistic research on the relationships between Art, Science, Technology, and Ecology, with a focus on collaborations between organic and digital systems. He holds a fellowship from the São Paulo State Research Support Foundation (FAPESP, 2022-2025). Furthermore, he is a member of the editorial council of Coleção Extremidades (PUC-SP) under the leadership of Profa. Dr. Christine Mello. Cláudio is also a member of ACTlab-Laboratory of art, science, and deviant technologies, and he is a founding member of the Kodos Collective. His artistic work explores the connections between Art, Environment, and Technology (Human-Data-Environment) and has been featured in national and international exhibitions.Some exhibitions include: the Exhibition Emerging Extended Realities in Macao, China; EmMeio#14 (Galeria Térreo) at the Museu Nacional da República in Brasília, Brazil; and the 17th Athens Digital Arts festival in Athens, Greece. In 2023, he received the MediAsia / KAMC IAFOR Scholarship in Kyoto, Japan, and in 2022, he was a finalist (with the Kodos Collective) for the FUNARTE Olímpiadas das Artes Visuais award in the Digital Art category. Cláudio holds a Master's degree from the Postgraduate Program in Art, Culture, and Languages (PPG-ACL) at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, where he was supervised by Prof. Dr. Renata Cristina de Oliveira Maia Zago. He was a UFJF research incentive fellow and holds an Interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree in Arts and Design from the Institute of Arts and Design (IAD / UFJF). Currently, he is involved in research within an international network of laboratories dedicated to alliances between Art, Science, and Technology, focusing on the Anthropocene and Bioart.
