Carisi Polanczyk holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1992), a master's degree in Health Sciences: Cardiology and Cardiovascular Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1996) and a PhD in Health Sciences: Cardiology and Cardiovascular Sciences from the University Federal Government of Rio Grande do Sul (1999). Is an associate professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Coordinator of the Cardiological Care Unit of the Cardiology Service of the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre. Head of the Cardiology Service at Hospital Moinhos de Vento. She has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Medicine, with an emphasis on Cardiology, working in clinical research on the following topics: chest pain, quality of care, acute myocardial infarction and acute coronary syndrome. Currently is coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Cardiology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Her lines of research are related to projects in the area of #8203;#8203;health economics, with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness, evaluation, management and incorporation of technology. She is coordinator of the National Institute of Science and Technology for ATS (INCT / CNPq), and participates in collaborative projects within the scope of PROADI SUS. She is a principal investigator at the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Center (CIIA-UFMG).
