This project aims at the synthesis of a variety of guanidines containing several levels of complexity, inspired in structures of natural products. This project represents a part of the Thematic Project of Fapesp entitled "The Role of Chemistry in Holobiont Adaptation" (2019/17721-9). (AU)
This project has as its main objective the synthesis of agelastatin derivatives and investigation of their anticancer activity against brain tumors. The project will be developed in partnership with researchers from Texas State University and the University of Pittsburgh (USA).
