Luz Gonçalves Brito holds a BA in Languages and an MA in Anthropology, both from Federal University of Goiás (Universidade Federal de Goiás). Since her undergraduate studies, she had researched and written on religion, anthropological theory, cultural studies, education, and environmental humanities. She holds a PhD in Social Anthropology (University Federal do Rio Grande do Sul/UFRGS). Her current research interests include the relations between Nature/Society, Mind/Nature and Person/World, in the perspective of political ecology. She dedicated herself to the research on human rights in schools, focusing on formative practices to prevent school withdrawing caused by gender inequity. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
