Holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports from the University of São Paulo (2014). During undergraduate studies, participated in projects focused on health and training, receiving a scholarship from the Learning with Culture and Extension program and contributing to the Specialized Conditioning Program at USP. Completed a final undergraduate thesis on sports injuries and flexibility in endurance athletes.Completed a postgraduate specialization in Triathlon at the University of Campinas (Unicamp), where he investigated the acute effects of metformin administration in sprint-distance triathletes. Also supervised a research project on the relationship between age, experience, and pacing strategies in long-distance triathlon events (Ironman).During the Masters degree, conducted research on physical training under metformin administration, chronic beta-alanine supplementation in swimmers, and exercise-induced neuromuscular fatigue, with a focus on sports performance.Worked as a strength and conditioning coach for the professional mens volleyball team Vôlei Ribeirão during the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons of the Brazilian Superliga A. During the same period, also worked as a content author and editor for middle school educational materials (7th to 9th grades) at Pearson Education.Currently pursuing a PhD at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP), focusing on the effects of physical training combined with intermittent hypoxia, with emphasis on physiological, molecular, and functional adaptations. In the early stages of the PhD, completed a research internship at the August Krogh Institute, University of Copenhagen (Denmark), funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nikolai Nordsborg. During this period, deepened expertise in exercise physiology, particularly adaptations to hypoxic training and muscle metabolism. In the 2023/2024 season, served as assistant coach for the womens volleyball team Amager VK, competing in Denmarks First Division.Has experience with physiological measurement techniques applied to exercise science, including training load analysis, near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), muscle ultrasound, and blood analysis (e.g., lactate/glucose, blood gas analysis, ELISA), as well as the use of computational platforms such as LabVIEW for physiological data acquisition and control.
