A geologist who graduated from the Institute of Geosciences at the University of São Paulo in 2022 is currently engaged as a researcher and FAPESP scholarship holder in a Direct Doctorate program within the SACRE Project - Integrated Water Solutions for Resilient Cities. Her work focuses on analyzing and developing innovative strategies to enhance urban resilience in the face of climate change and urban pressures. The research encompasses traditional investigation methods and mapping of contamination plumes originating from sanitation systems, as well as the application of reactive transport modeling to understand pollutant behavior and predict long-term impacts, thereby contributing to the safety of groundwater usage. Her efforts are distinguished by a blend of academic rigor and practical application, fostering integration across various fields of knowledge and collaboration with stakeholders to achieve sustainable outcomes. Her professional journey commenced in 2017 when she assumed the role of Project Director at a Junior Company, spearheading initial projects in the field of Hydrogeology. Since that time, she has balanced academic projects, including research involving geological modeling of contaminated areas, with practical experience in the management of contaminated sites. This experience has enabled her to develop expertise in identifying, assessing, and remediating environmental impacts caused by pollutants in soil and groundwater. Her work encompasses conducting detailed studies to delineate the extent of contamination, employing geophysical techniques, modeling, and sampling to characterize contaminants, as well as formulating effective strategies for the remediation and rehabilitation of affected sites. To enhance her qualifications, she has completed extension courses in Hydrogeology, Hydrogeochemistry, Mathematical Modeling, Isotopy, and Environmental Legislation. Furthermore, she has participated in events such as the Brazilian Congress of Geology (2018), the Ekos Brazil / SustRem Seminar (2018 and 2020), where she was part of the EKOS Career KickStarter mentorship program, Geosudeste (2019), the Brazilian Congress of Subterranean Waters (2022 and 2024), and the IAH World Groundwater Congress (2023).
