Juçara Gastaldi Cominal

Research Associate at Department of Chemistry - Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters at Ribeirão Preto - University of São Paulo. Member of the research group coordinated by Prof. Dr. Pietro Ciancaglini. She works with #8203;#8203;biological mineralization, focusing on the study of matrix vesicles. Bachelor in Biomedicine (Federal University of Alfenas, 2012), Master (2015) and Doctor (2019) in Science (Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto - University of São Paulo). She has experience in the study of hematopoietic niche, osteoclastogenesis, erythropoiesis, mesenchymal cells, extracellular vesicles, microRNAs, gene editing, in vivo studies and primary cell culture. She has studied myeloproliferative neoplasms, beta-thalassemia and iron metabolism. She was a member of the Research Ethics Committee of FCFRP/USP, in the category of student representative of the Graduate Programs of FCFRP/USP (2017-2019). She worked as an associate researcher at the Université de Paris, integrating the team of Dr. Olivier Hermine, studying the mechanisms involved in the regulation of late erythroid differentiation.
