Carlos Eduardo Wetzel

Is graduated in Biological Sciences / Ecology - Bachelor with a degree from the University of Santa Cruz do Sul (2006). Short stage in taxonomy and ecology of diatoms at the Centre de Recherche Public - Gabriel Lippmann in Luxembourg (2005). It has a PhD in Plant Biodiversity and Environment at the Institute of Botany of São Paulo (2011). Currently working as a researcher at Centre de Recherche Public - Gabriel Lippmann (Luxembourg). Has experience in botany, with emphasis on taxonomy and ecology of freshwater diatoms, fundamental and applied aspects in phycology, diatom biodiversity, water quality indices and ecohydrology.
