Geographer | Researcher in Geopolitics and Technology | Specialization in 5G and Global HegemonyGeographer graduated from the University of São Paulo (USP) with a double degree (Bachelor's and Bachelor's degrees) and specialization in Geopolitics and Cartography. Researcher with experience in geopolitical analysis of disruptive technologies, working mainly on the following themes: 5G/6G as axes of the Sino-American dispute, reconfigurations of global hegemony (Arrighi, 2008), and impacts of the radio spectrum on capitalist accumulation. FAPESP Fellow (2021-2023) in the project "5G as a Battlefield: The Sino-US dispute and its geopolitical impact on Brazilian territory", addressing how 5G technology accelerates the US-China hegemonic transition, using theories by Milton Santos (technical-scientific-informational space), David Harvey (reproduction of capital) and Giovanni Arrighi (systemic cycles). Final course work recognized for its innovative approach: "5G: The Opportunity of the Chinese Century", which demonstrated the role of 5G as a catalyst for a new multipolar order centered on China.Currently developing a master's project at USP analyzing: China's rise in the ITU (International Telecommunications Union) and its control over essential patents (SEPs) for 5G/6G as a mechanism for extracting global value; historical parallels between radio spectrum (mmWave) and oil as strategic resources for capitalist accumulation; the instrumentalization of the ITU by China to impose technological standards, replicating dynamics of cartelization (e.g.: OPEC) and conditionalities (e.g.: IMF).Practical experience: cartographic production (QGis/ArcGIS) and spatial analysis of technological infrastructures; tutoring in Geography disciplines (USP) - Geomorphology, Thematic Cartography, Biogeography; translation and review of academic texts.Technical skills: Office package, Adobe, geoprocessing software, discourse analysis (qualitative) and empirical data processing. Languages: Portuguese (native), English (fluent).Objective: Consolidation as a researcher in Geopolitics of Technology, integrating critical approaches of Geography with International Political Economy to decipher the new frontiers of global power.
