He holds a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). He has a Master's Degree in Science (Biochemistry) from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo (USP) and is currently a Ph.D. student in Science (Biochemistry) from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo (USP). He has experience in biotechnology with an emphasis on applied microbiology, working in prospecting for bacteria that produce hydrolytic enzymes, biosurfactants and bioactive substances with antimicrobial function, in addition to having experience in the area of bioremediation using bacteria.
