FAPESP Researcher - Direct Doctoral Student in the Biochemistry Program at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo (IQ-USP). Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the Federal University of São João del-Rei - Midwest Campus, Dona Lindu (UFSJ - CCO). During undergraduate studies, served as a paid teaching assistant in cell biology. From 2017 to 2018, was a volunteer research intern in the Experimental Pathology Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rosy Iara Maciel de Azambuja Ribeiro. From 2018 to 2019, was a scholarship recipient under the PIBIC/CNPq program, again under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Rosy Iara Maciel de Azambuja Ribeiro, gaining knowledge and experience in projects related to the preparation and effects of extracts from plants of the Brazilian cerrado on tumor cell lines, bioassays, and histological analyses. From 2020 to 2021, was once again a scholarship recipient under the PIBIC/CNPq program, this time under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Débora de Oliveira Lopes, acquiring new experiences in bioinformatics and reverse vaccinology while working on a project aimed at developing a rational vaccine against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Additionally, worked for over a year, from 2020 to 2021, in molecular diagnostics of COVID-19 using qRT-PCR. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
