He holds a Ph.D. (2010) and an M.Sc. (2006) in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas EAESP and a B.Sc. (1999) in Computer Science from the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo (IME-USP). He is an Adjunct Career Professor in the Department of Technology and Data Science (TDS) at FGV EAESP, where he has been teaching since 2011 in the areas of GeoAnalytics, Data Science, and Applied Statistics.He served as Head of the Department of Technology and Data Science (TDS) at FGV EAESP from 2022 to 2025 and as Vice-Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Business Administration from 2019 to 2021, with responsibilities for academic management of double degree programs and international dual degree partnerships.He is currently a Principal Researcher at FGVanalytics and Coordinator of the AI Sprint for CEOs and C-Level Executives within the Advanced Management Program, as well as Coordinator of the MBA in Artificial Intelligence and Analytics and the MBA in Digital Transformation at FGV EAESP. He was a visiting researcher at the Department of Information Science at the University of Otago, New Zealand.His research and professional experience focuses on predictive modeling applied to Microcredit, Marketing, Demography, Applied Statistics, Geostatistics, and Geotechnologies, with emphasis on Data Mining, Business Intelligence, and Spatial Analysis. He is a co-founder of GisBI, a study group dedicated to the integration of Business Intelligence and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
