PhD in Communication from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM - 2022 - with support from CAPES and FAPEAM) having completed the Sandwich Doctorate in Maputo/Mozambique/Africa (UP - 2018-2019) - With support from CAPES through the Intercultural Educommunication project within the scope of the Abdias Nascimento Program, developing exchange of experiences in undergraduate and graduate courses, developing an extension project, scientific journalism workshops and research in the area of mediatization of science. Master in Communication Sciences from the Graduate Program in Communication Sciences at the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam - 2011) researching scientific news for websites. Specialist in Information Administration from Nilton Lins University (1999). Graduated in Social Communication with a specialization in Journalism from the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam -1994). He currently works as a Professor of Higher Education at the Faculty of Information and Communication (FIC/UFAM), in addition to more than 14 years as a professor in the courses of Journalism, Advertising and Propaganda, Radio and TV, at Nilton Lins University, Martha Falcão Colleges, Boas Novas University and Centro Universitário do Norte - Uninorte/Laureate, having been coordinator of the Uninorte TV Project. He served as a fellow of the Support Program for the Dissemination of Science of the Foundation for Research Support of the State of Amazonas (FAPEAM) in which he developed journalistic activities for radio, video, website and social networks and coordination activities for research projects. He worked as an Advisor and Scientific Journalist at the National Institute for Research in the Amazon (Inpa), in the Arquigrafia 4.0 project (FAU/USP/FAPEPS) and at the Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research (IPEN). In his doctorate, he defended the research: MEDIATIZATION OF SCIENCE: the complexity of the STI approach in television news coverage in Brazil and Mozambique. Interest in research focused on scientific dissemination, digital technologies and the Internet, working mainly on the following topics: journalism; mediatization of science; science dissemination, scientific dissemination; scientific journalism.
