Luciana Maciel Bizzotto holds a bachelor's degree in Economics (UFMG, 2012), a master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism (UFMG, 2015) and a doctorate in Education: Knowledge and Social Inclusion (UFMG, 2022). She is also a member of the Center for Studies and Research in Childhood and Early Childhood Education (NEPEI), at the School of Education at the Federal Universiy of Minas Gerais, and a member of the Coletivo Geral Infâncias. Recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the School of Public Health of the University of São Paulo (USP), where she was part of the research team for the project "PANEX-YOUTH: Youth adaptations in vulnerable communities to survive and recover from COVID-19." She has experience in research, teaching, and university extension, as well as professional work in the field of urban planning and childhood studies. Currently, she is involved in research projects focusing on children's participation in the construction of public policies and the challenges faced by urban youth in situations of socio-environmental vulnerability in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
