Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos, Sorocaba campus. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in the Graduate Program in Zoology at the University of São Paulo. Also undertaking a specialization in Freshwater Fish Farming Production. Research interests include zoology, taxonomy, and conservation. Two Scientific Initiation research projects were developed during undergraduate studies, both in the field of ichthyology. Characiformes is one of the most diverse orders in Actinopterygii, representing the richest order in the Amazon basin.
