He holds a degree in Biology - Universidad Nacional de Colombia - Bogotá (2012), as well as a Master and Doctorate in Biological Sciences from the National Museum of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He has experience in the field of Zoology, with an emphasis on Arachnology. He currently develops research in taxonomy, systematics and biogeography of the families Cosmetidae, Gonyleptidaae and Nomoclastidae (Opiliones).
