PhD candidate in the Graduate Program in Audiovisual Media and Processes at the University of São Paulo (PPGMPA-USP). Hold's a master's degree in the same program with the dissertation "A ressignificação no cinema de found footage feito por mulheres" and a bachelor's degree in Audiovisual from the same institution, with emphasis in editing and film directing. Director and co-writer of the short film Diva (2016), awarded Best Film at the 6th University Film Festival of Alagoas and Tempo (2014). Works as editor for short films, documentaries and television series, among others. Member of the Research Group of the Laboratory of Investigation and Audiovisual Criticism (LAICA). This research intends to focus on cinema made by women through the reassembling of footage from various sources (cinema, internet, newsreels, television, pornography, home movies, etc.), a practice known as found footage. Our research explores the links between the practice of found footage and the possibility of a feminist poetics, examining the dynamics of inclusion and exclusion, preservation and destruction within the archives.
