Birthplace: Brazil

Master of Science (M.Sc.) and PhD in Science (D.Sc.) from the University of São Paulo and UCBerkeley-USA, financially supported by CNPq and CAPES. Research Scholar - PhD Candidate visitor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at University of California - Berkeley (USA) from 2015 to 2017. He has experience in Chemistry with emphasis in Inorganic Chemistry; in Materials Science and Engineering, with emphasis on ceramic materials, synthesis and characterization of nano-particulate and advanced ceramics for Fuel Cells and photonic devices. He is currently developing research in #8203;#8203;Nanotechnology, particularly with nanophosphors and multiferroic thin films grown via pulsed laser deposition (PLD). Professor in the Graduate Program in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology - PPGEMN (Mackenzie). He has collaboration with researchers at IQ-USP and Department of Materials Science and Engineering of the University of California (UC Berkeley), your project is focused on the study of synthesis parameters and persistent luminescence properties of rare-earth ions doped nanostructured matriz and to control and manipulate magnetism in multiferroic ultrathin films with external electric field where in a fundamental unit of operation takes energy less than or equal to 1 AttoJoule (UCBerkeley and Intel Corporation partners collaboration).
