Bachelors degree in Physics from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), Rio Claro campus (2012). Masters (2015) and Ph.D. (2019) in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Biomolecular Physics at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos, University of São Paulo (USP). Completed a sandwich Ph.D. at Queen's University Belfast (QUB), Northern Ireland, with a PDSE/CAPES scholarship (2017). Worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos (USP) for five years, including a research internship at Texas AM University (TAMU), USA, supported by the FAPESP BEPE scholarship. Currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Texas AM University (TAMU). Has experience in photodynamic therapy (PDT), with a focus on preclinical studies aimed at optimizing drug delivery and clinical trials for technique enhancement.
