Graduated in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of UNESP (1997), Master of Science in Infectious and Parasitic Diseases from the School of Medicine of USP (2005), PhD in Science from the Infectious and Parasitic Diseases Program of the School of Medicine of USP (2014) and postdoctoral student at the School of Medicine of USP. She is currently Coordinator of the Pharmacy Course and Associate Professor at the FMABC University Center. She is also Professor of Microbiology and Immunology in the Department of Pathology of the FMABC University Center, teaching classes in the undergraduate courses of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing and Occupational Therapy. She is a preceptor for residents of the Department of Pediatrics and Infectology of the FMABC University Center in laboratory internship. She is the manager and head of the Clinical Microbiology sector of the Clinical Analysis Laboratory of the FMABC University Center, providing assistance to public hospitals and municipal Basic Health Units in Greater São Paulo (capital and ABC region). She has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Microbiology, Immunology and Hospital Infection, working mainly in the laboratory diagnosis of infectious diseases, in the evaluation of antimicrobial resistance mechanisms by phenotypic and genotypic methods and in the investigation of hospital outbreaks by molecular typing and genetic sequencing of microorganisms.
