Robson A. Colares holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), earned in 2014 and 2022, respectively. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC) at UNICAMP. His research focuses on Optical Communications and Digital Signal Processing, with an emphasis on the following topics: optical fibers, distributed sensing, digital signal processing, image processing, and machine learning. He has experience in optical fibers, WDM, telecommunications and optical communications, surface plasmons, and fiber optic sensing.
