Robson Assis Colares

Robson A. Colares holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), earned in 2014 and 2022, respectively. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC) at UNICAMP. His research focuses on Optical Communications and Digital Signal Processing, with an emphasis on the following topics: optical fibers, distributed sensing, digital signal processing, image processing, and machine learning. He has experience in optical fibers, WDM, telecommunications and optical communications, surface plasmons, and fiber optic sensing. He has interned at the Optical Communications and Photonics Laboratory (Mackenzie) and the Advanced Photonics Concepts Laboratory (Université de Montréal). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
