Veterinarian from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), Master in Preventive Veterinary Medicine from FMVZ-UNESP-Botucatu-SP and qualified in Methods of Diagnosis and Control of Animal Brucellosis and Tuberculosis (PNCEBT-MAPA) by the same institution. He has a postgraduate degree in Public Health and Health Surveillance from Faculdade Líbano and a postgraduate degree in Molecular Biology and Cytogenetics from Instituto Celso Lisboa. He was a committee member of GETEC - the Complementary Therapies Study Group and GEASU - the Single Health Study and Action Group, both at UFRRJ. She was awarded a Scientific Initiation scholarship (PIBIC/CNPq), focusing on microbial control. He was a member of the Veterinary Medicine Tutorial Education Program (PET). He was also a monitor for Parasitic Diseases at the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, also at UFRRJ.
