Bachelor in Biological Sciences by the Federal University of Alfenas. In undergrad, was a fellow at the PET-Biology program, a Scientific Initiation student at the Laboratory of Integrative Animal Biology (investigating uterine NK cells), and a monitor of different subjects. Master's degree from the Graduate Program in Basic and Applied Immunology (IBA) from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP), University of São Paulo (USP). Currently, FAPESP Ph.D. candidate for the same program. Since his master's degree, has been analyzing the role of molecules and cells involved in the pathological inflammation-fibrosis axis in patients with systemic sclerosis submitted to autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Sandwich period at Radboud University Medical Center/Radboudumc (Nijmegen, Netherlands), Department of Experimental Rheumatology, under the supervision of Prof. Marije I. Koenders, where he develops - through tissue engineering - 3D skin models using primary cells isolated from scleroderma patients (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
