Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas (ICB)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB) at the University of São Paulo (USP), currently a PhD student in the Immunology Graduate Program at ICB-USP. During my academic training, I dedicated four years to scientific initiation, focusing on research in immunometabolism, particularly mitophagy and inflammatory processes. I was awarded a FAPESP Scientific Initiation Fellowship (Process 2022/13122-6), which allowed me to deepen my knowledge and contribute to advancing this area of research. Additionally, I participated in an International Research Internship at the Laboratory of Tissue Biology at Yale University, supported by FAPESP (Process 2023/07057-0). During this experience, I expanded my understanding of immune mechanisms, with a focus on skin aging. Currently, as a PhD student, I am part of the Transplant Immunobiology Laboratory at ICB-USP. My doctoral research investigates the effects of interleukin 11 (IL-11) on the inflammaging process and its metabolic impact on keratinocytes. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
