He is currently a Nutrition undergraduate student (USP-School of Public Health), in his seventh semester. He was a Scientific Initiation student with a FAPESP scholarship at the Laboratory of Integration of Biological Systems (LiSB), of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB) of the University of São Paulo (USP) during the first 3 years of his undergraduate degree. His research sought to unravel the relationship between impaired mitochondrial health and the development of myopathies. With this, he delved into the study of the relationship between diet and the worsening or protection in the development of the disease and conducted a study that sought to evaluate how Caloric Restriction impacts the development of mitochondrial myopathy, which he worked on during the last year of research. In addition, he has taken and is taking several extension and improvement courses in the areas of Nutrition, Metabolism, Weight Loss, Eating Behavior, Laboratory Tests, among others.
