Maria Júlia Santos Saboya Pereira

Graduated in Biomedical Sciences at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP) of the University of São Paulo (USP). She received a FAPESP scholarship during her undergraduate studies, in which she developed activities to track compensatory mechanisms related to heat shock proteins in Trichophyton rubrum at the Laboratory of Genetics and Molecular Biology of Fungi of the Department of Genetics at FMRP. She has laboratory experience with pathogenic organisms, cultivation and repotting of the dermatophyte fungus Trichophyton rubrum, antifungal response analysis, RNA sequencing and contact with a range of bioinformatics tools in the field of genetics and protein structure prediction. She is currently a Master's student and FAPESP Fellow in the Genetics Department of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP) at the University of São Paulo (USP). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
