Graduated in Bachelor's and Licentiate Degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 2023. Graduated as a Chemistry Technician from the Federal Institute of São Paulo - Suzano Campus in 2018. I was an intern at the Laboratory of Model Organisms (LOM), which is part of CNPEM's LNBio, under the supervision of Angela Saito. I carried out my scientific initiation in this same laboratory, also under the guidance of Ângela Saito. I am currently a PhD student in the Molecular and Morphofunctional Biology Program, Biochemistry area, at Unicamp. I carry out my research in the laboratory of Ângela Saito, at LNBio (CNPEM). My research project involves the development of gene therapy for neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, using newer gene editing technologies, such as Base Editing. I am interested in the areas of Biochemistry, Genetics, Neuroscience and Molecular Biology. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
