Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Engineering (USP-2006), a Master's Degree in Industrial Biotechnology (2009) from the University of São Paulo, EEL-USP and an MBA in Process Management (2014) from Getúlio Vargas FGV Foundation. Currently studying for a PhD in Environmental Sciences at the Universidade Estadual Norte Fluminense (UENF) working with disinfection of water by solar energy (SODIS and SOPAS). I worked as a Process Engineer at Agrostar do Brasil (2009 to 2011), an industry that produces fatty acids for export and from 2011 to 2014 as Production Supervisor in the Corbion-Purac Industry. Responsible for the fermentation, acidification, filtration and ion exchange plant. I have experience in optimization of industrial processes, fermentative biotechnological processes in several scales, microbiology, ion exchange unit, filtration, continuous improvement of processes and management and people management. Participate as a doctoral student on a CAPES Special Visiting Researcher project with a Spanish researcher in the area of sustainability and solar energy, developing microbiological water decontamination systems from solar energy.
