I am graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (2012) and completed my Master's (2014) and PhD (2018) in Biosciences and Biotechnology from the Graduate Program in Biosciences and Biotechnology at the Carlos Chagas Institute/FIOCRUZ-PR, working in the area of Cellular and Molecular Biology of Trypanosoma cruzi, both under the supervision of Dr. Maurilio Soares and Dr. Iriane Eger. Between May and October 2017, I completed a CAPES-funded PhD sandwich program (PDSE) at Cedars Sinai Medical Center (Los Angeles, CA, USA) under the supervision of Dr. David Morgan Engman. I have experience in molecular and cellular biology, immunoassays, and genetic engineering. Currently, I hold the position of Senior Laboratory Technologist, working with the CRISPR/Cas9 system at the Center of Excellence for Target Discovery at the Butantan Institute.
