My undergraduate was in Chemical Engineering and my master?s degree was in chemistry, both at Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro. I got my PhD in Chemical Engineering at State University of Campinas. Currently, I?m a postdoctoral researcher in Chemical Engineering at the University of São Paulo in the Research Group on Advanced Oxidation Processes. Throughout my academic journey, my research aims to develop technologies and processes that can solve environmental problems related to occurrences of emerging contaminants in water bodies, thus reducing impacts on the environment and human health. I have experience in the area of advanced technologies for water and wastewater treatment, with emphasis on Electrochemical Advanced Oxidation Process (EAOP) and Adsorption processes.
