José is a Bachelor of Biological Sciences, during his studies he worked on projects related to microbiology, immunology and science communication. He is currently a Master student (FAPESP 2022/11998-1) in the Postgraduate Program in Genetics and Molecular Biology at UNICAMP University and his research focuses on the characterization of proteins secreted by the type 6 secretion system of Xanthomonas citri subsp. citri.
