Eder John Scheid

Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Eder holds a PhD from the University of Zurich UZH, focusing on blockchain selection; he also holds an MSc degree in Computer Science from UFRS, Brazil. Eder collaborates as an academic guest in the Communications Systems Group (CSG) at the UZH. Eder has led research projects, including the Blockchain for Cold-Chains (BC4CC) and Blockchain for Swiss Cheese Supply Chain (CheeseChain), and participated in several others, such as the EU CONCORDIA project and blockchain-based E-Voting. Eder is an aassociate member of the UZH Blockchain Center, IEEE, and the Brazilian Computer Society. His research interests include blockchain, smart contracts, distributed systems, network management, cybersecurity, and NFV. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
