Her first Scientific Initiation was carried out at the Butantan Institute, with bioinformatics for protein structure prediction, with a CNPq PIBITI scholarship. Her second Scientific Initiation is in the area of Bioremediation, Environmental Biotechnology, in a project that investigates the biodegradation of used automotive oil, with a FAPESP scholarship.The student completed an internship abroad (BEPE), also funded by FAPESP, where she continued one of the objectives of the project on the biodegradation of used automotive oil: exploring biosurfactants produced by the bacteria studied. Currently, Letícia is a student of the Master's in Sustainability at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of the University of São Paulo. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
