Thatiane Teixeira Mendonça

I have a PhD in Biotechnology and a MSc in Microbiology at the University of São Paulo (Brazil). My BSc degree in Biological Sciencies at the State University of Montes Claros (Minas Gerais, Brazil). My career started as an RD trainee at the veterinary pharmaceutical company Vallée S/A. During postgraduate studies, I was a visiting researcher at Biopolis S/L in Parc Científic de La Universitat de Valencia (Spain) and at the Department of Chemistry, State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry (NY, USA). My research focuses were biotechnology, molecular biology and bioprocess, emphasizing the production of bioplastics by microorganisms. In this direction, I have published papers in top tier conferences and in peer review journals. In 2014, I concluded a Clinical Research training course at Invitare Pesquisa Clinica, developing abilities in clinical trial field, working with projects at the Pediatric Oncology Institute GRAACC.
