Carried out a research project funded by FAPESP entitled "The hydroalcoholic extract of jabuticaba has antibacterial action against multi-resistant strains of Acinetobacter baumannii" (research line: multi-resistant bacteria). Presented the research project "The hydroalcoholic extract of jabuticaba has antibacterial action against multi-resistant strains of Acinetobacter baumannii" at the odontomeeting congress at the Institute of Science and Technology of the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (Unesp) in São José dos Campos. It is part of the extension projects entitled "Dentaduras" and "Cia dentes Brilhantes" which takes place at the Institute of Science and Technology of the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (Unesp) in São José dos Campos. He has experience with multidrug resistance, herbal medicines and biofilm. Has an article entitled "Phytochemical Composition and Antimicrobial and Antibiofilm Effect of Hydroethanolic Extract of Myrciaria cauliflora against Staphylococcus aureus and Acinetobacter baumannii" in the journal "Methods and protocols".
