Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with a specialization in Strength Training from the School of Physical Education and Sport at the University of São Paulo (EEFE/USP). He is currently a PhD candidate in the Graduate Program in Musculoskeletal Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP), supported by a FAPESP grant. He is an active member of the Applied Physiology and Nutrition Research Group at USP and conducts research as a scientist in the Laboratory of Assessment and Conditioning in Rheumatology at the Hospital das Clínicas (LACRE-HCFMUSP). Additionally, he collaborates with the Laboratory of Adaptation to Strength Training (EEFE/USP). His areas of interest include: i) therapeutic effects of physical exercise and nutrition; ii) neuromuscular adaptations to strength training in health and performance; iii) skeletal muscle protein metabolism; iv) nutrition applied to exercise; and v) applied exercise physiology.
