Biologist graduated from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Bauru campus. Conducted a FAPESP-funded undergraduate research project titled Comparative cytogenomics of different populations of Characidium zebra (Teleostei, Characiformes), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ricardo Utsunomia at the Fish Genomics and Conservation Laboratory. Currently a CAPES-funded Master's student in the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences (Genetic) at the Institute of Biosciences, UNESP Botucatu. His dissertation, entitled Genomic structure and sex determination in Prochilodontidae (Characiformes): a genomic analysis of the genus Semaprochilodus, investigates molecular mechanisms underlying sex differentiation in Neotropical fishes. Experienced in cytogenetics, molecular biology, and comparative genomics, with research interests in evolutionary biology, population genetics, and biodiversity conservation.
