Birthplace: Brazil

I am a biomedical engineer, a master's graduate in technological innovation, and a Ph.D. candidate at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). My work focuses on the development of innovative prostheses and orthoses, utilizing additive manufacturing, biomimetics, and assistive technologies. I am the vice-coordinator of the 3D Orthoses and Prostheses Laboratory at UNIFESP (LOP3D) and the Mao3D project, as well as the founder of Limbse Tecnologia Assistiva LTDA. I have experience in 3D modeling, CAD/CAM, 3D printing, and materials engineering, with an emphasis on applying these technologies in healthcare. My work includes medical image segmentation for digital modeling and additive manufacturing of anatomical biomodels, enabling surgical planning and the customization of medical devices. I develop solutions for post-stroke rehabilitation, pediatric orthoses for hip dysplasia, and myoelectric prostheses, participating in projects funded by PIPE-FAPESP, FINEP, and CNPq. Additionally, I collaborate with institutions in Germany, Chile, and Angola, fostering innovation and accessibility in the development of assistive technologies. My goal is to integrate biomedical engineering and digital manufacturing techniques to create more effective, accessible, and personalized devices, improving patients' quality of life and facilitating their rehabilitation.
