She works as a postdoctoral researcher in the area of cosmology and gravitation currently at the University of Portsmouth, but also affiliated to the Institute of Theoretical Physics of UNESP ICTP South American Institute for Fundamental Research. She did her PhD in physics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), with a CNPq scholarship, and with an exchange period with a CAPES PrInt scholarship at the University of Geneva. She did a bachelor's degree in physics at UFRJ. Her main interest is investigating the use of gravitational waves to constrain the standard cosmological model and its extensions.
