Renata Ferreira Magalhães

A physician graduated from the State University of Campinas in 1996, she completed her medical residency in Dermatology at the same institution until 1999 and acquired the title of specialist by the Brazilian Society of Dermatology in 2000. She has a doctorate from the Postgraduate Program in Clinical Medicine, completed in 2009 by FCM Unicamp. She is currently a Professor-Doctor MS-3.2 of the Discipline of Dermatology, Department of Clinical Medicine at FCM Unicamp. Her research areas are: psoriasis, immunobiologicals, phototherapy, hidradenitis suppurativa, bullous dermatoses and cutaneous oncology. She was a preceptor of the Medical Residency at the service between 2014 and 2019, and is currently the supervisor of the program. She was coordinator of the Professional Master's Program "Applied Sciences for Medical Qualification" between 2018 and 2023. She is Head of the Dermatology Service at the Hospital de Clínicas da Unicamp and Coordinator of the Extension and Undergraduate Courses of the Dermatology Discipline. Responsible for clinical research in dermatology in the service, being PI of national and international controlled multicenter studies. She worked at the Brazilian Society of Dermatology, São Paulo Region - 5th District between 2003 and 2013, holding the positions of treasurer, vice president and president of the Management 2011-2012. She has been a member of the Specialist Title Committee of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology since 2018, scientific coordinator of the management of SBD 2023/2024, full member of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology, Brazilian Society of Dermatological Surgery, GRAPPA, Solapso, International Psoriasis Council (IPC), EHSF and the Ibero-Latin American College of Dermatology.
