Environmental Engineer (2017) from the Federal University of Viçosa, with a Masters degree (2020) and a PhD (2025) in Hydraulic Engineering and Sanitation from the University of São Paulo (USP). She is currently a collaborating researcher at the Solid Waste Research and Study Group (NEPER) and the Community-based Research Laboratory (CBRL). Between 2022 and 2023, she was a researcher at the Global Research Academy Sustainable Cities, conducting studies on food waste. From 2023 to 2024, she was a visiting researcher at CBRL in Canada, where she investigated the integration of waste pickers in North America. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Young Professionals Group of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA YPG), currently contributing to the Research and Innovation working group. Her areas of work and interest include inclusive recycling, circular economy, waste management, waste pickers, governance, and social participatio. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
