Environmental Engineer (2017) from the Federal University of Viçosa, with a Masters degree (2020) and a PhD (2025) in Hydraulic Engineering and Sanitation from the University of São Paulo (USP). She is currently a collaborating researcher at the Solid Waste Research and Study Group (NEPER) and the Community-based Research Laboratory (CBRL). Between 2022 and 2023, she was a researcher at the Global Research Academy Sustainable Cities, conducting studies on food waste. From 2023 to 2024, she was a visiting researcher at CBRL in Canada, where she investigated the integration of waste pickers in North America. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Young Professionals Group of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA YPG), currently contributing to the Research and Innovation working group.
