Biologist and botanist, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Plant Biology at UNICAMP, Campinas - State of São Paulo, Brazil. My research interests lie in plant ecology, particularly focusing on phytogeography, plant evolution and floristic surveys. I collaborate with research groups studying plant-animal interactions. Presently, my research is centered on examining floristic diversity patterns of continental islands along the Brazilian coastline. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences (both in teaching and research) from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), Rio Claro campus, and a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Plant Biology) from the same institution.
